ATLANTA - To encourage patients to try its silicone hydrogel, daily disposable and color contact lens brands, CIBA VISION today announces the "Fitting Choices Refit Rebate," a new high-value rebate program that will continue through March 2005.
Patients who purchase two boxes of O2OPTIX™, NIGHT & DAY®, Focus® DAILIES® (90 packs) or FreshLook® color lenses will receive a $40 rebate to help offset their fitting and exam fees. To qualify for the rebate, patients must be transferring from another brand of contact lenses, including CIBA VISION brand lenses.
"Patients are sometimes reluctant to try new lenses because they incur the expense of a refitting fee when making a switch," said Dwight H. Akerman, OD, FAAO, director of professional marketing for CIBA VISION North America. "The 'Fitting Choices Refit Rebate' program is designed to defray this expense and encourage refitting into CIBA VISION's market leading lenses."
Rebate tear pads will be offered to accounts who meet certain purchase requirements. Details on the "Fitting Choices Refit Rebate" and rebate pads are available from CIBA VISION sales representatives and CAN-DO distributors.
